Acknowledgments

We appreciate the leadership and funding provided by University of Wisconsin-Green Bay's Cofrin Center for Biodiversity, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin Bird Conservation Partnership, Western Great Lakes Bird and Bat Observatory, The 1923 Fund, U.S. National Park Service, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, particularly Melinda Knutson, Bill Route, Brian Mitchell, Andy Paulios, Loren Ayers, Jennifer Phillips-Vanderberg, Steve Dhein, and Jennifer Davis.

There are more than 50 photographers who have contributed bird pictures for the Visual Identification Test database. Unfortunately, they must remain anonymous. Some of the contributing photographers have their bird pictures posted on their personal and/or professional websites and we don't want birders simply viewing those websites and studying the pictures. But to all the photographers who have contributed, we want to say "Thank You!", for without your contributions, the Birder Certification Online program would not be able to exist.
